Inverurie Advertiser features a short feature by Lost in Food in their edition this week. A call for a festival of food based in Aberdeenshire.
We met up for breakfast this morning at our favourite cafe The Kilted Frog, for a cup of coffee. We wanted to have a look through the Inverurie Advertiser, our local newspaper. Delighted to see our article our print which appears this week. Following our recent trip to Fife we call on Aberdeenshire Council to look at funding something similar locally. Lets get everyone talking about what’s great about the food that’s available right on our own doorstep! There’s so much to promote in this area. Buy local, support local!
Following our visit to Fife for their 48 Hours: Feast of Fife, we wanted to see a similar event locally. We have so much great food and drink to promote in this region. We would like to see something like this brought to Aberdeenshire, sponsored by Aberdeenshire Council. For example delivering an event that showcases the regions amazing produce. However we will always promote what is local first and foremost, support local and buy local where possible. For example, locally we have some of the best soft fruits, vegetables, meat and poultry, charcuterie, game and seafood. In addition we have whisky, gin and craft beer on our doorstep.
