WELCOME TO #COOKBLOGSHARE WEEK #16

#CookBlogShare is a weekly link party where we share recipes, comment on each other’s cooking creations and generally immerse ourselves in the world of gastronomy!  If you’ve got a recipe this is the place to show it off!

We have the pleasure of guest hosting this link party this week. This link party is hosted by 3 fantastic bloggers: [email protected] Peasy Foodie , [email protected] and [email protected] Made Easy.

If you are new to this link party please take a moment to read the guidelines below.  Joining is easy and you are welcome to share your old and new recipes. There is no theme and all recipes are welcome.

Thank you to everyone who shared their recipe with us last week.

Easter and Springs are here! Who could resist the thoughts of showcasing some beautiful desserts fit for the Easter table.

First up if our own Lemon Tart with a Limoncello Ice Cream. Bursting with lemon each component can be made ahead of time leaving you to get on with the rest of the Easter Dinner and just assemble at the end.

Next, it wouldn’t be Easter if we didn’t include some chocolate desserts now would it?

Clare from Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy has just completed a brand new kitchen extension. What a way to christen the kitchen than with this delicious looking Easy Easter No Bake Chocolate Tart complete with gold topped mini eggs. Easy to prepare and make ahead of guests arriving but beautifully presented.

Next up, guaranteed to fill any sweet tooth is Kat from The Baking Explorer with her Creme Egg Trifle A mixture of chocolate brownies, chocolate custard, cream and then Creme Eggs, we might need a lie down after!

Finally in our roundup of Easter desserts is Kate from Gluten Free Alchemist with her Gluten Free Banoffee Cake. Like Kate, we prefer fresh cream cakes over the sugary frostings and this cake achieves that. Thick layers of banana cake and the biscuit crunch layer have us lusting over a slice.

Oooohh, these desserts have me wanting to lick my screen! Thanks for hosting this week: I’ve linked up my Soy-Miso Marinated Ramen Eggs. When I have leftover Easter eggs, THIS is what I do with them. 😉

Thanks Michelle, I’ve bookmarked your soya miso eggs for future as I’ve never made them but love them and always have loads of eggs (I keep chickens!). Cheers, Michelle

Thanks Kate, I can highly recommend the ice cream! This was our dessert at our 2 Supperclubs last month and everyone loved the tart and the ice cream, there were empty plates all around, including Lesley and I eating it straight from the tub when the guests couldn’t see!:-) Michelle x

Aaaah – these look delicious. I am particularly loving your lemon tart – so elegant! I am afraid I think there is something wrong with the linky, though, as it is not appearing at all – just the badge code. 🙁 Hope you manage to get it fixed. I’ll pop back to link up when it is 😀 Eb x

Hi Eb, thanks. I do love a lemon tart and this was a bit hit at our last Supperclub. Apologies for the link missing….I missed the final line of code when copying! Thats it sorted now! Thanks, Michellex

These desserts are all too tempting. The two tarts in particular are calling too me – one because it’s chocolate and the lemon one because it looks so fresh and zingy.

I’m unable to link-up too. All I can see is a bit of code.

Thanks Choclette, I know both at different ends of the dessert menu but both to my taste as well. Sorry for the glitch, the code is now working, my mess up. Michelle x

Thanks Hannah. It was a tough call to choose this week but the desserts screamed at me as I’m trying to decide what to make for Easter! Think it might be more than one! 🙂 checking the link now, it might be set to 10am if I remember correctly so I was maybe a bit over zealous this morn!:-)
