beans and pulses

Great to add to soup, casseroles, curry, salad or blitzed together as the base for a dip or topping bruschetta. Here are our mainstays:

butter beans
chickpeas
mixed beans
kidney beans (both in water and in chilli sauce)

coconut milk

Keep in store for a quick curry, also great when added to soup with a bit of spice.

fish

anchovy fillets (an ingredient many are fearful of but ideal in sauces, marinades and a must for a salsa verde!)
tuna

pickled and jarred vegetables

Have on hand to add to salads, salsas, etc.

beetroot
capers
cornichons and gerkins
jalapeno chillies
roasted red peppers

tomatoes

plum tomatoes
tomato passatta
tomato puree
sundried tomato puree
